i've been making myself sleep late on friday & saturday nights and waking up early the following mornings (like 8.30am, which might not be THAT early but still, vair early) cos i want to maximise my weekends.. but time passes so fast nowadays, it's 3pm now and i don't think i've done much today. >:
i baked brownie cookies this morning though.

and of course the other reason why i love junes is cos, heikalele always gets a surprise too, even if it's in the form of a melted cake.. it's fun cos he never ever sees it coming. :D but next year no more k.

this post is a week overdue and quite stale. but still probably one of the happiest days i've had in 2009.

Produce stickers and labels hold a lot more information than simply the cute name or slogan of a fruit of veggie. By reading the sticker number, you can actually confirm if the piece of produce you hold in your hand is organic, not organic and/or genetically modified.
Notice that the labels on fruits and veggies will have a 4 or 5 digit code.
If your produce has 4 digits, it means that it was "conventionally grown, but not organic".
If it has 5 digits, and begins with a 9, it means that the produce was organically grown.
A 5 digit code that begins with an 8 indicates that the produce was genetically modified.

3 hours of putting pieces of a4 papers together, and i'm satisfied with my new posters for the room. woohoo! so there's the rhead bear on a pool one which i didn't take a picture of, but i like this one
ze best. it's an image by stanley donwood. 16 papers, yo! so it's prettay big. :D fits perfectly on top of my bed, hooray!
and today's reck's bday. happy birthday!! i wrote you a ( poem. )
it's quite touching. anyways, a tribute to my bestest friend in the whole wide world! yeah you know like that thing in primary school where they rank their friends according to gold, silver and bronze? well heikal's like.. a gem! truly. like those kinds you find in sinma.
hehe. you know i still love you to bits.

i made cinnamon rolls to share. :D
it made me admire people who made bread to sell in bakeries when there weren't mixers or bread machines, cos i don't have any of those either and just one batch of these tired me outt. but it was fun!
